Honey massage
Classic massage
Classic massage is the most well-known type of massage. It can be used from head to toe, including on the stomach or chest.
Depending on individual needs, I combine the classic massage with techniques from connective tissue massage, subcutaneous reflex therapy, Lomi Lomi Nui (Hawaiian bodywork) or fascial techniques, among others.
Manual lymphatic drainage and lymphatic taping
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a very gentle massage with slow and rhythmic movements in which the lymph flow is stimulated by means of maximum skin tension. The suction and pumping movements transport the lymph from the periphery towards the venous circulation. MLD is used for:
- lymphedema (in the case of a damaged lymphatic system)
- post-operatively (before surgery to stimulate the lymph flow and after surgery to reduce swelling)
- after sports trauma
- after lymph node removal (due to cancer metastases or mechanical damage)
- for detoxification
- simply for relaxation.
In addition, MLD has a generally calming effect because it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. This also stimulates the body's self-healing powers. MLD is therefore also recommended for general stress conditions. The lymphatic system can also be supported by lymph taping - the tape is stuck to the skin using special application techniques and thus has a lymph-reducing effect even between therapies.
Honey massage
The honey massage is a special type of massage in which liquid honey is spread over the body and used to massage it. Honey contains numerous active ingredients: vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, trace elements that the body can absorb through the skin. After the honey massage, the skin becomes very supple and firm. The special pumping and sucking movements stimulate blood circulation and thus the metabolism. The honey massage is particularly suitable for detoxification and for people with firm connective tissue, but also for long-term muscle tension.
Foot reflexology
There are a number of reflexology points on the soles of the feet, the palms of the hands and on the ear that correspond to the organs and glands of the body. Since this is a reflexology massage, strong stimulation of the points is effective. Foot reflexology is a wonderful way to regulate and activate the organs. The general effect of this massage is activating and stimulates the metabolism. This technique can be combined particularly well with other techniques (classic massage, manual lymphatic drainage, honey massage, head massage, moxa therapy, etc.).

Aroma massage
During the massage, a base oil (cold-pressed natural oil) is mixed with specially selected essential oils. The essential oils can be divided into three large groups: head notes that support the fifth, sixth and seventh chakras; heart notes, suitable for the third and fourth chakras (solar plexus and heart); and foot notes that nourish the lowest three chakras.
The information about the different aromas we perceive (in contrast to the information that comes from our eyes, ears and skin) is not passed through our cortex, but directly into the limbic system, which is responsible for processing emotions. Aroma massage can therefore have a gentle, yet deep, positive effect on the chakras and emotions, because our sense of smell is directly connected to the subconscious and its stored emotions.
